Young teen killed in rollover crash
A 14-year-old boy was killed in a Martintown Township rollover car accident on Saturday morning.
According to authorities, the accident occurred as the 37-year-old driver in the car was driving westbound down County Road 2400N when he swerved in order to avoid an animal in the road. The vehicle ran off the roadway, struck a ditch, and rolled over before finally coming to a stop.
The 14-year-old, the driver and another 15-year-old in the car were all transported to the hospital. The 14-year-old was later pronounced dead due to injuries sustained in the accident. The driver was cited for failure to reduce speed in order to avoid an accident.
