Miranda Soucie To Be Elected As The Newest Executive Committee Member of The Women’s Trial Lawyer Caucus

Miranda Soucie is a shining example of this. Her hard work and dedication to her field can be seen through her very successful career and resume, which now includes being elected the newest executive committee member of the Women’s Trial Lawyer Caucus at the upcoming American Association for Justice (AAJ) annual convention. Miranda will serve as one of four Board of Dovernor representatives and will represent almost 5000 women trial lawyers nationwide. AAJ is an organization that promotes justice for injured persons and works to protect victim’s rights by educating and informing the public of information that is critical to their health and safety. AAJ works to provide assistance to trial lawyers working to serve clients successfully and uphold the values aligned with the civil justice system.

Miranda represents plaintiffs in serious personal injury cases, including automobile crashes, trucking crashes, birth injuries, defective medical devices, and wrongful death. Miranda is licensed to practice in both Illinois and Florida. Her passion and fierce desire to help her clients shows with every personal injury case she takes on. Along with being elected to the Women’s Trial Lawyer Caucus for AAJ, Miranda has received the Illinois State Bar Association Young Lawyer of The Year award, the Leading Lawyer in the State of Illinois in 2018 and 2019 by the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and has been recognized as a Rising Star multiple times since 2015 by Super Lawyer.

Not only does Miranda show a continuous commitment to the legal field, but Miranda also shows commitment to her community as well. Miranda volunteers internationally with Meet Malawi, traveling to Malawi, Africa to volunteer her time helping local women engage their community and improve living conditions through water and educational programming. She volunteers with the Copper Creek Presbyterian Church where she heads the Guest Services team. She is also actively involved with the Eastern Illinois Food Bank where she was honored as the 2018 Prom Queen for raising over $11,500.00 to help combat food insecurities in Central Illinois. Miranda is an extremely generous person who cares deeply about others.
