Illinois Man Arrested for DUI after Accident on 3000W Road
Late yesterday, December 6, Kankakee resident Anthony Woods crashed into Benjamin Kirchner, also of Kankakee, sending himself to the hospital for treatment. After being treated for his injuries, Woods was arrested by local police for a DUI.
Around 7 p.m. on Thursday, Woods ran a stop sign located on Illinois Route 17 and 3000W Road, causing a collision to occur between his GMC pickup and Kirchner’s Ford pickup. Fortunately, neither men were fatally injured, as Woods only had minor injuries and Kirchner refused medical treatment altogether.
