Meet Attorney Berta C. Sasso
Berta Sasso joined Spiros Law, P.C. in 2022 and focuses her practice on representing individuals and families who have been seriously injured due to the negligence of others. Her practice includes personal injury and workers’ compensation matters.
Through her strong advocacy, thorough case preparation, and courtroom experience, Berta has helped secure countless favorable settlements and resolutions for her clients. She is a tenacious advocate who approaches each case as though it will be tried, a mindset that consistently positions her clients for successful outcomes in settlement negotiations, arbitrations, mediations, and at trial.
Berta regularly represents clients in motor vehicle collisions, including auto and trucking crashes, as well as workers’ compensation claims, slip and fall injuries, and vaccine injury claims. She is known for her attention to detail, and client-centered approach, where she works closely with her clients to guide them through what is often one of the most difficult periods of their lives.
Prior to joining Spiros Law, P.C., Berta practiced as a medical malpractice associate in the Metro East area, where she gained significant experience evaluating complex medical issues and litigating high-stakes claims.
Berta earned her undergraduate degree from Loyola University Chicago and her law degree, cum laude, from Southern Illinois University School of Law. She was admitted to practice law in 2020 and is licensed in Illinois and Missouri. She is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and Kankakee Bar Association. Berta is fluent in Lithuanian.
Outside of the office, Berta enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, gardening, and being outdoors.
