Unfortunate Car Accident Kills Two in Homer Township
A fatal accident occurred in Homer Township, Illinois on Sunday, October 21st around 9:30 p.m. Illinois State Police said a 62-year-old man in a Porsche Boxster was driving northeast on Archer Avenue when he crossed the center lanes and slammed head-on into a Toyota Tercel driven by a 36-year-old woman. The man was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital where he was pronounced dead, while the woman died at the scene. The Will County Coroner identified the man as Arunas Augustaitis of Elk Grove Village and the woman was identified as Jennifer Balice of Lemont. Authorities said they are looking into whether or not the driver was under the influence.
