Two injured in accident in Iroquois County
A car accident in rural Iroquios County on Saturday morning injured two people.
According to police, the accident occurred as a 63-year-old man was driving east on U.S. 24 when his vehicle crossed the path of a Ford F-150 driven by a 54-year-old man.
Both men were taken to the Iroquios Memorial Hospital to be treated. One man is listed in fair condition and the condition of the other man is currently unknown. Police cited the 63-year-old man with failure to reduce speed in order to avoid an accident.
