A semi-truck accident on I-57 injured two people in Chebanse Township.
The semi-truck struck the rear of a vehicle that was protecting the crew that was working on the road. The semi-truck was hauling compressed hydrogen at the time of the accident. Emergency crews worked to remove the semi-truck in the safest way. The cause of the accident is still being investigated by officials.
