Pedestrian Injured by Hit-And-Run Driver in Evanston
On the early Sunday morning of June 24th, a man was hit by a pick-up truck in Evanston and sent to the hospital with several injuries.
The Chicago resident was on the 300 block of Chicago Avenue in Evanston at about 12:20 a.m. A northbound pick-up truck struck the man and drover away. Witnesses describe the truck as being a white Ford F150 pick-up.
The pedestrian was taken the St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, initially listed in critical condition. As of Monday, June 25th, the man’s condition was upgraded to serious. The Evanston Police Department is investigating the accident and currently seeking the driver.
