Joliet Man Dies After Pedestrian Accident
A Joliet man has died after being hit by an automobile last week. The 30 year old man had been walking in the street when he was struck by a deputy of the Will County Sheriff’s Department. He was taken to Silver Cross Hospital for treatment after the late night collision, and put on life support for several days.
At this time the accident is still under investigation by law enforcement authorities and the deputy that hit the man is on administrative leave until a ruling can be made regarding the crash.
