In the early hours of Sunday morning, a young man was hit by a car that left the scene on the West Side of Chicago.
The 24-year-old man was walking in the 600 block of North Homan Avenue in West Garfield Park on August 12th. It was about 12:10 a.m. when a silver-colored car described as a Dodge Magmun or Dodge Charger crashed into the man and left the scene.
The man was taken to John Stroger Hospital suffering from blunt head trauma and a fractured leg. The police are looking for the driver of the silver vehicle with possible damage to its front end, the driver’s side headlight and front windshield.
A walk in the neighborhood should not end with a trip to the hospital. If you or a loved one knows someone who has been hurt in an accident with a hit-and run driver, call Spiros Law, P.C. at (815) 929-9292 to explore your legal rights.
