Choking hazard causes recall of Build-A-Bear teddy bears
Nearly 300,000 teddy bears have been recalled by Build-A-Bear after it was found that they may pose a choking hazard to small children.
The issue may arise if the eye button becomes lose and children put it in their mouth. There have not been any injuries from the recall at this time.
The recalled product, the ‘Colorful Hearts Teddy’ bear was sold in the U.S. for $18 and Canada for $23. Consumers who purchased the bear are urged to bring it back to the store in order to change it out for another bear.
