Boy suffers brain injury at Pause for Patriotism event
A 12-year-old boy was injured at Pause for Patriotism over the weekend after falling into a ravine.
According to police officials, the boy was a member of Lockport Boy Scout Troop 50 and was at Perry Farm Park for the event when he somehow fell into the ravine.
Fire officials stated that it took rescuers just about 20 minutes to remove the boy from the ravine and airlift him to the hospital. His current condition is unknown at this time, but officials stated that he suffered from a serious head injury.
