Two injured after car crashes into Starbucks

Two people were taken to the hospital after a car struck three parked cars before running into a Starbucks shop off of Illinois Route 50.

According to police, the accident occurred as the driver of the vehicle and a small child were at McDonald’s and the driver suffered a seizure or some other medical condition.

This caused the pickup truck to travel toward the McDonald’s exit and hit three parked vehicles before running into the Starbucks shop. No one inside of Starbucks was injured, but two people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Starbucks did suffer from structural damage after the truck went through the wall, protruding about four feet into the store.
