Icy roads a factor in Wall Street crash

A single-car accident in Kankakee on South Wall Street was caused because of the icy roads.

According to police, a 17-year-old passenger was transported to the Riverside Medical Center and later to another hospital to be treated for her injuries.

The driver of the vehicle, also 17, was ticketed as a result of the accident. A third person that was also involved in the accident was uninjured. Illinois State Police continue to investigate the accident at this time in order to discover further details.
