A citronella product that is sold at Bed Bath & Beyond and other major retailers has now been pulled off of the shelves after it was reported that two people were nearly killed after the product exploded.
The explosions were caused by FireGel, jelly-like substance that scents the citronella. The explosions injured a 14-year-old boy in Long Island and a 24-year-old Manhattan man.
An investigation then linked the two incidents to the product made by the Georgia-based company, Napa Home & Garden. Bed Bath & Beyond were then asked to remove the product from the shelves.
If you or a loved one has been injured by a defective product, you need experienced representation on your side during this difficult time.
