Police are investigating the cause of a crash that sent a Kankakee man to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon at around 3:15 p.m. According to sources familiar with the accident, the man’s motorcycle was struck by a car at 2740S Road at Route 45/52. While the extent of the man’s injuries is not yet known, emergency crews believe he may have suffered a broken leg in the accident.

Seven car accidents involving twelve vehicles occurred within a five-minute time span on Monday morning, sending six people to the Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka.
