Posted on April 13th, 2010 No Comments

A 36-year-old Minooka man has been arrested under suspicion of leaving the scene of a personal injury crash. Illinois police report that the man allegedly struck an Illinois State Police trooper car on April 4 before fleeing the scene, leaving the trooper injured.

He remains jailed in the Kendall County Jail on $75,000 bond. The man is accused of hitting the trooper on an exit ramp from Interstate 80 at Ridge Road in Kendall County.

Hit-and-run drivers are dangerous and should be held to account for their actions.
