Seven crashes in Iroquois County send six people to local hospital

Seven car accidents involving twelve vehicles occurred within a five-minute time span on Monday morning, sending six people to the Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka. According to authorities, the accidents occurred around 7:25 a.m. on Illinois 1 at CR 2100N. The injured individuals were treated at the hospital while law enforcement officers investigated the cause of the collisions. Fog is believed to be a contributing factor in the accidents.
